1. Set goals
Pick two or three measurable goals, such as faster lead response, an accurate monthly forecast, or fewer overdue tickets.
2. Configure the basics
Set up pipeline stages, key custom fields, roles and permissions. Resist adding everything at once; start with what supports your goals.
3. Bring in clean data
Import contacts, organisations and open deals. Merge duplicates and leave stale records behind; a fresh start is worth more than a complete archive.
4. Connect daily tools
Link email, calendar and phone so activity is captured where people already work.
5. Train by role
Short, role-specific sessions work better than one long demo. Show each person the three or four tasks they will do every day.
6. Review and improve
After two to four weeks, check your goals, gather feedback and add the next layer: automations, dashboards and further integrations.
